
Summer intensive lessons

New Beginner Lessons
These lessons are for those who have had no or minimal swimming lessons before and/or are nervous about the water.
These lessons will focus on getting children confident in the water and to start moving with a noddle or float in addition to learning the concept of floating and being able to regain an upright position from a flat position in the water.
We have two age groups for these lessons 3- to 4-year-olds and 5 plus.
These lessons are equivalent to either Ducklings/Stage 1.

Intermediate Lessons
These are for children who can swim without putting their feet down for over 10m. The focus will be developing the correct stroke technique for the four main competitive strokes and learning water safety code.
We have two age groups for these lessons 3- to 8-year-olds and 8 years and above.
These lessons are equivalent to stages 4 and 5.

Beginner Lessons
These are beginner lessons for those we are confident in water and can move forwards and backwards with a float. They may be able to swim a little independently – but need help with the correct technique.
These lessons will focus on moving forwards and backwards with a noddle or float using the correct leg kick and body position. Floating independently will also be a focus during these lessons.
These lessons are for 3- to 8-year-olds.
These lessons are equivalent to either stage 2 to 3.

Older Beginner Lessons
These are beginner lessons for those who are beginners but over 8 years old.
These lessons will focus on moving with a noddle or float with Correct body position and leg kick. Aswell as learning how to float.
These lessons are equivalent to either stage 1,2 and 3.
